Hastings Auto Rentals began in late 2005 as D & M Car Rentals, which was part of D & M Autos (2001) Ltd, an Automotive repair business. The fleet of vehicles has slowly been built up, and in June 2009 it was decided to split the rentals away from the automotive side of the business. This resulted in Hastings Auto Rentals. It still operates from the same site but now has its own dedicated phone line and separate identity.
We try and cater for the budget market. People who want a reasonably priced and reliable vehicle. All of our cars are very well maintained and after each rental is returned, no matter the distance or time, the vehicle goes through a thorough maintenance check.

Minimum hire period applies.
The longer you hire the vehicle the better the deal, prices as low as $20 a day. Budget cars start at $35/day over a two to seven day hire period. Over seven to 14 days it drops to $30/day and from 14 days to a month it drops to $25/day and over 30 days it drops to $20/day as long as there are budget cars available. We are always open to negotiating a better deal.

We currently have eight cars and two 12 seater vans. Cars from $35/day for short term hire. Prices negotiable for long term hire. Van rental $120/day for short term. Prices negotiable for long term hire.
