We are located 15 minutes walk from central Hastings and 20 minutes drive from Napier City and 10 minutes drive from Havelock North in the sunny Hawke's Bay. We try and cater for the budget market. People who want a reasonably priced and reliable vehicle. We have eight cars and two 12 seater vans. All of our cars are very well maintained and after each rental is returned, no matter the distance or time, the vehicle goes through a thorough maintenance check.

The friendly greeting at the airport by yourself and the mini escorted tour on our arrival after our long overnight flight, was an added extra on the way to our accommodation. The car was immaculacte and never missed a beat during the 2500 plus ks around your beautiful country, despite all the hills and bends we encountered during our months touring holiday. Hastings Auto certainly offers a full customer friendly service. We were also very grateful for the lift to the airport for our return journey. Gwen and I are very sad to see the devastation of such a beautiful city as Christchurch and the suffering of the people, our prayers and thoughts go out to them. Budget Cars start from $35 / Day.
12 seats. Diesel, both vans have manual transmissions. High top roofs with plenty of headroom. The Toyota Hiace can have some or all of the seats removed for extra luggage space or use the whole van for cargo. No special license is needed just a full clean car license. Both vans have CD payers with rear speakers. Van rental $120/day for short term. Prices negotiable for long term hire

The longer you hire the vehicle the better the deal, prices as low as $20 a day. Budget cars start at $35/day over a two to seven day hire period. Over seven to 14 days it drops to $30/day and from 14 days to a month it drops to $25/day and over 30 days it drops to $20/day as long as there are budget cars available.We are always open to negotiating a better deal.
